The a‌da‌pa‌ Gallery, in collaboration with a Binding workshop in papermaking, has initiated a project involving artists, designers, illustrators, and painters. The inaugural event unfolded with six artists. Guided by the perspective and philosophy of a‌da‌pa‌, deeply rooted in the exploration of Indo-Iranian myths and epics, they delved into the content and embarked on creating works that mirror their contemporary worldview.Artists featured in this collection: Farzaneh Nishaburi, Fariya Ghasemi, Mojtaba Taghvaie, Mohammad Mehdi Heydari, Hossein Ghaffari, and Ahmadreza Saghafi.

This project is an ongoing exploration.|Galloping at night| 1 |Artist books are the clandestine world residing behind the drapes. Stepping into this space is akin to entering a concealed dimension, a sanctuary. Secrets untold, desires submerged, daily memories, and even aspirations yet unrealized unfurl themselves for the first time within the pages of a notebook. This is the vantage point where one witnesses the ceremonial clash between the artist and the unraveling of their art, like a mythological battle with Ahriman delved into for a journey within the “self.” It unfolds in a silent, eerie, and unchanging setting—a place where the hero, perhaps entangled by victory or defeat, hastens to another realm.

A video exhibition of Moshtaba's artwork "Mehr-e-khavarn"( مهر خاوران meaning eastern sun in Persian) was a part of two different events in Essen,Germany this summer.

The first event was a group exhibition in Kunstwerden Gallery held in June to August 2023 titled "# Für …/ #for..." (Read More). Many Iranian artists (their names on the poster,  above) participated in the show with their works based on their personal experiences of living in Iran through the years of uprising and fighting for their lives and rights.

The second event was held in Essen's city hall in September 2023 and the show celebrated "Voices from Afar" and once again "Mehr-e-Khavaran" was part of the show. Mayor of Essen and two political activists had a speech in the event about Woman,Life,Freedom movement and the artworks related to it.

Moshtaba's short statement also can been viewed in a page from the second event's catalog. (there's a little mistake in the catalog's text)
